With a growing family and no desire to move, our client tasked us with maximising his terrace property to respond to a modern family life. While a loft conversion fell comfortable under permitted development rights the rear single storey extension required a ‘Prior Approval’ application, due to its desired depth exceeding the parameters allowed under permitted development rights. Luckily with a sympathetic design and understanding neighbours we achieved the additions the client desired.
